Bethany Church has been blessed with outstanding growth in the last decade. Attendance has more than doubled and now averages 1,400 per weekend. Children’s programs bring in more than 160 children each week and Bethany Preschool has grown from 64 students in 1999 to 135 today. Special events like our Christmas Eve and Holy Week worship services bring in more people than ever, with 2,650 in attendance for our Christmas Eve services and 2,480 for Easter!
In 1999 our global missions outreach included 45 missions groups. Today, that number has almost doubled. Some of our biggest growth in missions has come in the form of local community outreach with Athletes for Christ. With 22 kids in 2007, this ministry has now more than 600 participating youth and adults in 10 different sports programs.
Finally, our Sunday School and weeknight programs are not only outgrowing our current facility, but due to space constraints, it has become virtually impossible to add any new ministries.
